Não abram a pestana, não...
Sempre que tenho tempo gosto de fazer mix-tapes. Os tempos mudaram e agora faço-as em mini-disc. Para mim são essenciais, porque quando ando na rua quase sempre o faço de headphones nos ouvidos. Ou então quando estou na estrada com a bandola, uma vez que não podemos passar sem música e o formato mix-tape é sem dúvida o mais recompensador ao fim de horas de audição, talvez porque maça menos, diversifica, etc, etc...
Pois bem, uma das últimas mixes que fiz (sem pretensões de DJ, limito-me a gravar as músicas sem as misturar mesmo...) surpreendeu-me sobremaneira: quando acabei de a gravar dei por mim com quatro nomes portugueses lá metidos. Com mais do que uma música de cada um. Para ser sincero não me lembro de alguma vez tal coisa ter acontecido.
Gosto de música portuguesa e ela aparece nas minhas compilações, mas acho - ou melhor, tenho a certeza - de que foi a primeira vez que numa só encaixei quatro tugas, sinal de que as coisas boas não estão a aparecer de seis em seis meses.
A saber: Valete, com o álbum «Educação Visual»; Gutto, com temas do disco «Private Show»; Zedisaneonlight, em registo homónimo; e Fuse, com o álbum «Informação ao Núcleo», o único registo de 2001 no pacote.
No campo do hip-hop estamos bem. Se o acentuado sotaque nortenho de Fuse e as suas rimas densas e refinadas podem já não ser novidade para muita gente - os seus Deallema são um dos projectos mais conhecidos na cena tuga -, Valete surge numa excelente revelação: «Educação Visual». Este é, a par de «Sobre(tudo)» de Sam The Kid, um dos discos mais estimulantes do ano: rimas inteligentes, lúdicas, interventivas, com um bom flow e beats bem esgalhados.
Valete é (muito bem) acompanhado em boa parte do disco por outro rapper a prestar atenção, Bônus, contando ainda com várias participações tanto de mc’s (Sam The Kid, Chullage, Ace, Fuse, Adamastor) como de produtores (Kilu, Bomberjack, Sam the Kid, Bambino) e scratches de top e dj’s como Cruzfader. Começo auspicioso este o de Valete...
Quem não é propriamente novo em termos de gravações e edições é Gutto. O ex- Black Company comete a façanha de lançar o primeiro risco de r&b português, na linha, por exemplo, do que será feito nos Estados Unidos por um Montell Jordan. Arriscado? Muito. Não sei até que ponto é que os portugueses estão preparados para r&b feito em português. Certo, certo é que o resultado do empenho de Gutto em «Private Show» é muito bom.
O álbum é produzido pelo próprio e por Boss Ac (que tem o sucessor de «Manda-Chuva» prestes a ser editado), duas pessoas que já andam aqui há tempo suficiente para saber fazer o que querem praticamente sem mácula. Temos «Playa»...
Os Zedisaneonlight possuem um disco que investe numa fusão de vários sons diferentes, os quais têm em comum um certo groove de feel free, sei lá como definir, uma cena meio freak... Dois temas impedem-me por enquanto de conhecer o resto do disco, porque tou embicado neles: o single «Give you my(love) e «Feel no Fear», que nos dão a conhecer a uma voz fabulosa de requintes jamaicanos rodeadas de boas vibrações.
No meio disto tudo onde andam os media? O que é que as rádios (excepção honrosa à Ant3na) andam a fazer? Não foi através deles que estes discos me chegaram às mãos. Uns procurei, outros, por mera sorte... Não abram a pestana que não é preciso...

em relação ao texto... realmente, pela descriçao pouco detalhada, deve ter ficado um espectaculo a tua mix-tape, no mini-disc... concordo profundamente sobre o que disses-te de cada pessoa que aí descreves... dando maior importancia ao que dizes do Valete e do Sam... sendo que gosto muito das suas mensagens... musicas...
...agora, sem vos deixar de lado, o vosso protagonismo... venho dizer que gosto muito das vossas musicas...acompanho-vos desde o "3º Capitulo"... evidenciando uma musica excelente "Duia"... e fiquei muito surpreendida pelo vosso desenpenho num concerto que vos vi (no super bock super rock do ano passado)... e continuem com o bom trabalho...
